Abstract: Photosynthetic eukaryotic organisms contain several chloroplast-associated metabolite transporters that enable energetic/metabolic exchange between the chloroplast and other cellular compartments. In this study, we used the model photosynthetic alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii to investigate a highly expressed chloroplast triose phosphate transporter.
