Abstract:The low emission efficiency of clusteroluminogens restricts their practical applications in the fields of sensors and biological imaging. In this work, the clusteroluminescence of ordered/disordered polypeptides was observed, and the photoluminescence (PL) intensity of polypeptides can be modulated by the chirality of amino acid residues. Polyglutamates with different chiral compositions were synthesized, and the racemic polypeptides exhibited a significantly higher PL intensity than the enantiopure ones. This… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
