Chirale Dimethylgalliumaminoalkoxide

Abstract: Multiferroic magnetoelectric composite systems such as ferromagnetic‐ferroelectric heterostructures have recently attracted an ever‐increasing interest and provoked a great number of research activities, driven by profound physics from coupling between ferroelectric and magnetic orders, as well as potential applications in novel multifunctional devices, such as sensors, transducers, memories, and spintronics. In this Review, we try to summarize what remarkable progress in multiferroic magnetoelectric composite… Show more

“…The general structural features of the molecules are consistent with those observed for related gallium alkoxides (average GaϪO equatorial , GaϪO axial and GaϪN distances are 1.923 A ˚, 2.113 A ˚and 2.348 A ˚, respectively). [5,13] It is worth noting that the crystal structure exhibits disorder indicating the presence of the (R*,R*)-[Me 2 Ga(O,N)] 2 and (R,S)-[Me 2 Ga(O,N)] 2 diastereomers (Figure 2). These diastereomers result from the association of monomeric moieties of the same or opposite configuration as the chiral center in the O,N-chelating ligand.…”
