Abstract:Abstract. We investigate the chiral mass splitting of parity-doubled J = 0, 1 states for cs and cn meson systems in the U(12) SF -classification scheme of hadrons, using the linear sigma model to describe the light-quark pseudoscalar and scalar mesons together with the spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry, and consequently predict the masses of as-yet-unobserved (0 + , 1 + ) cn mesons. We also mention some indications of their existence in the recent published data from the Belle and BABAR Collaborations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
