Abstract:Dedicated to the memory of Prof. Luigi M. VenanziThe new chiral bidentate (phosphinoaryl)benzoxazine ligands 2 were applied in asymmetric catalysis. Rhodium and copper complexes catalyzed the hydrosilylation of acetophenone and [4 2] cycloadditions with moderate enantioselectivity. Iridium complexes were used to hyrogenate di-, tri-, and tetrasubstituted alkenes, giving products with moderate to high enantiomer excesses. Enantioselective allylic substitution and Heck reactions catalyzed by [(phosphinoaryl)benz… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
