“…The Results of Ming-Zhi Zhang et al demonstrated that inhibition of HSD11B2 selectively blocked the COX-2 pathway in tumors and inhibited the development of colon cancer in humans [23]. At present, some studies have proved that HSD11B2 is closely related to the proliferation and metastasis of cancer [21,23,24]. Combined with the above results, we inferred that HSD11B2 expression is associated with proliferation and metastasis of renal clear cell carcinoma. In addition, GSEA analysis showed that low expression of HSD11B2 is involved in tumor-related pathways and may promote tumor metastasis.…”

“…After 48 h of treatment, the IC 50 values of Sanguisorba officinalis L. in RKO-P/R and HCT15-P/R were 148.9 µg/mL, 121.7 µg/mL, 163.6 µg/mL, and 105.2 µg/mL, respectively. Qi found Sanguisorba officinalis L. had an activating effect on the key target proteins corticosteroid 11-beta-dehydrogenase isozyme 2, the enzyme encoded by HSD11B2, which was markedly decreased in colorectal cancer tissues and was positively correlated with the overall survival time of patients [21]. The results indicated Sanguisorba officinalis L. could promote tissue differentiation in colorectal cancer.…”

“…The occurrence of liver cancer is mostly attributable to infection with hepatitis B virus, liver cirrhosis, alcoholism, smoking, and other detrimental habits (28). Studies have shown that Asian traditional herbal medicine exerts antiinflammatory (29,30), antibacterial (31), antitumor (32)(33)(34), and other physiological actions (35)(36)(37). Its antitumor effect is relatively significant.…”
