Chinese Economic Statecraft in Indonesia/East Timor: A Historical and Regional Perspective

Abstract: From inside China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), two southern tier nations offer contrary perspectives as to the efficacy of Beijing’s economic statecraft, namely Indonesia and East Timor.
