The electric vehicle trend globally made mobile automakers preparing another strategy. Nonetheless for Hyundai as South Korean biggest automaker with their success in the domestic market attracting Hyundai to expand their business. On the other side, Indonesia as the biggest economy in ASEAN demands continuous growth of its economy and expecting economy drive from foreign direct investment (FDI) and seeing the global trend despite lack of electric vehicle facilities and technology. This article analyzes why Hyundai decided to make a direct investment in Indonesia regarding the electric vehicle. This article tried to break down the premises through the push-pull factor in order to give an argument about Hyundai reasons in Indonesia.

Indo-Pacific cannot be interpreted as a form of integration based on a region or regional areas such as Asia, or Southeast Asia, and Europe, which is based on the geographical shape of the region. The Indo-Pacific emerged as part of a geopolitical and geostrategic study based on competition patterns and state perspectives and behavior based on a broader scope of maritime interests. Indo-Pacific analysis as an object from a geopolitical and geostrategic perspective does not refer to national or regional coverage but to the global area and level. Therefore, the Indo-Pacific analysis used document analysis. In document analysis, this study combines the analysis of three primary data and 50 secondary data from national journals and international journals. In this analysis more directed at the strategic meaning of each country towards the Indo-Pacific strategic value which is then related to the maritime interests of each actor. This study describes the struggles of interests in the framework of competition through geopolitical policies and geostrategy, especially by countries that have influence. Global or the ability to shape political and security structures in the Indo-Pacific.

This article aims to analyse Indonesia's policy of joining China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) through a perspective of distribution in Islamic economics. The BRI project is one of the agendas of the Chinese government to expand economic hegemony in the international market. At the same time, the Indonesian government has a national development priority program (PSN). However, the state's finite financial condition and the stagnation of economic growth became an obstacle for the Indonesian government to realize the domestic infrastructure projects. Therefore, the Indonesian government requires a source of capital other than the state budget. One of the steps taken by the Indonesian government is to become part of BRI. Behalf of these difficulties and opportunities, how Islamic economics argue the Indonesian government policy especially on distribution perspective. To address the question, this article utilizes descriptive qualitative methods and the theory of distribution of Islamic economics. It was found that the Indonesian government's infrastructure policy is in line with the spirit of Islamic distribution to reduce income disparity by providing equal access to infrastructure for the communities. Beside BRI's open access and integration to regional countries and supported by the needs of China's domestic industrial raw materials, Indonesia is predicted to be the largest exporter of raw materials. The need to export these raw materials will also tend to be exploitative and contrary to Islamic principles. Therefore, to tackle that, this article recommends the formulation of policies that encourage an expansive domestic industry so that Indonesia is not only an exporter of raw materials but also an exporter of goods and services.
