Abstract:SUMMARY
Non‐esterified fatty acid response to glucose has been studied under standard conditions on 51 obese children. No evidence could be found to support the concept that non‐esterified fatty acid response to an oral glucose load could be used to define two distinct groups of children with obesity, previously described as “metabolic”, and “simple” forms of obesity.
