Although the initial widespread eruption responded rapidly to treatment with oral corticosteroids, recurrent blisters continued to develop at sites of skin or mucosal trauma.…”

“…To the Editor: 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) has been used intralesionally to treat keratoacanthomas (KAs) and squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs). [1][2][3][4] We report a patient with a SCC involving approximately 25% of his right thumb which resolved clinically and histologically with intralesional (IL) 5-FU. A 53-year-old healthy, right-handed male was seen in consultation for Mohs micrographic surgery of a biopsy-proven SCC of his right thumb.…”
