Chewing gum for postoperative ileus after colorectal surgery: A systematic review of overlapping meta-analyses

Abstract: a b s t r a c tBackground: Many meta-analyses investigating gum chewing for postoperative recovery after colorectal surgery have been published with inconsistent findings.
