Chemoselective and diastereoselective synthesis of halogenated [1,3] oxazino [2,3‐a] isoquinoline derivatives

Abstract

Chemoselective and diastereoselective synthesis of halogenated [1,3] oxazino [2,3‐a] isoquinolines, based on one‐pot three‐component reactions of isoquinoline and dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in the presence of α‐chloro and α‐bromo ketone derivatives in good to high yields, are reported.
