Abstract: Die Aryliminoäthoxalylchloride (I) gehen unter der Einwirkung von NaNO3 in wasserfreiem Dimethylformamid bei 25°C, wahrscheinlich über die Stufe von Aryliminooxal‐ A′) säure‐O‐nitraten, in die Nitrooxanilsäureester (II) über; aus dem Chlorid (Ia) entsteht außerdem die entsprechende p‐Nitro‐Verbindung (Ausbeute 17%).
