Abstract: From the culture medium of Streptomyces tendae Tue 901 some new metabolites were characterized: (I) (nikkomycin E), its isomer (IIa) [as N‐terminal constituent of the nikkomycins Px (IIb) and R, (IIc)], and (IIIa) [as N‐terminal amino acid of the nikkomycins Kx (IIIb) amd K, (IIIc)].
