ChemInform Abstract: The Electrochemical Behavior of Positive Cobalt/Aluminum and Cobalt/Iron Hydroxide Electrodes.

Abstract: ChemInform Abstract Doping of β-Co(OH)2 with M3+ ions (M: Al, Fe) by coprecipitation of the corresponding nitrates or sulfates leads to materials that do not show the electrochemical inertness of CoOOH. Materials prepared with a molar ratio of Co:M = 4:1 have the highest charge capacity. These compounds crystallize in the double layer structure of the pyroaurite type.
