ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis, Structure, and Solubility Studies of a New Arsenato‐Polyoxovanadate Cluster Compound: (NH4)4 [V12As8O40(H2O)] ·4H2O.
Abstract: The title compound is prepared by solvothermal reaction of NH4VO3 and As2O3 in a 1:1 mixture of Et2O (or EtOH) and H2O (pH 6.5, 80 °C, closed glass tube, 7 d, 20% yield).
