ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis of Sulfonic Acid Derivatives by Oxidative Deprotection of Thiols Using tert‐Butyl Hypochlorite.

Abstract: One‐pot procedure is developed by generation of thioacetates in situ, followed by oxidation with tBuOCl leading to sulfonyl chlorides and trapping with electrophiles as amine, alcohol or water.
