Abstract:ChemInform Abstract Reaction of the lithiated aminosilanol (I) with the silyl chloride (II) yields the siloxane (III) which is coupled with the difluorosilane (IV) to give the siloxane (Va). This and the known siloxane (Vb) are cyclized upon treatment with butyllithium and catalytic amounts of diisopropyldifluorosilane, producing the 1-oxa-3-aza-2,4-disilacyclobutanes (VI). The X-ray structural analysis of (VIb) is given.
