Abstract:Synthesis of Silicon-Functionalized Dimethylsilyl Enol Ethers fromKetones.-The symmetrical dimethylsilyl bisenol ethers (III) are obtained by reaction of the ketones (I) with dichloromethylsilane (II) in the presence of triethylamine and sodium iodide.
