Abstract: Synthesis of Oxindoles by Broensted Acid Catalyzed Radical Cascade Addition of Ketones. -N-alkylated methacrylic acid anilides react with ketones via tBuOOH--mediated radical cascade Michael addition/cyclization to the title compounds in good to high yields.
