Abstract: Synthesis of Naphthofuran-2(3H)-one Derivatives by Palladium-Catalyzed Three-Component Coupling Using Naphthols, Aldehydes, and Carbon Monoxide.-Naphthols undergo a three-component reaction with aldehydes and carbon monoxide in the presence of catalytic Pd and TFA to form naphthofuranones.
