Abstract:Synthesis of Isoquino[1,2-a][2]benzazepines and BiochemicalTesting of Isomeric Homoberbines and Related Papaverine-Derivatives for the Inhibition of Phosphodiesterases. -The synthesis of hitherto not accessible isoquino[1,2-a]benzazepines (V) (6 examples) starting fromhydroxyesters (II) or corresponding benzanellated seven-membered ring lactones is given. Testing of these compounds for inhibition of phosphodiesterases shows that the sterical position of the benzene rings is important. -(MEISE, W.; ONUSSEIT, O.… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
