Abstract

Synthesis of Condensed Derivatives of 2-Substituted Thieno [2,3d]pyrimidin-4-ones.-A new and simple preparative method for the synthesis of novel 2-substituted thienopyrimidines (V) (18 examples), compounds exhibiting a wide spectrum of biological activity, based on the condensation of 2-acylamino-3-ethoxycarbonylthiophenes [cf.
