Abstract:ChemInform Abstract The title compound (V) is prepared by heating stoichiometric mixtures of the components (I)-(IV) to 1230 rc C. Phosphates of Na and Zr are found to be intermediates. The formation of NASICON starts at about 1000 rc C. It is only at this temp. that SiO2 takes part in the reaction after its transformation from the amorphous state to a mixture of tridymite and α-cristobalite. The single-phase title compound has a conductivity of 0.14 S/cm at 300 rc C and 0.00028 S/cm at 25 rc C.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
