Abstract:Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of Hydroxyalkyl-and Hydroxyacyl-phenols and Their Benzyl Ethers.-A variety of phenolic compounds having hydrophilic side chains of the bengazole-type is synthesized and evaluated for their antimicrobial activity.
