Abstract: Durch kontinuierliche Alkylierung von p‐Kresol mit einer Olefinfraktion, Kp 240 ‐ 320°C, mittleres Molekulargewicht 205, die durch Cracken von Paraffinen erhalten wurde, an einem Kationit (KU‐2) werden hauptsächlich 2‐Alkyl‐4‐methylphenole erhalten.
