Abstract: Das Purin (I) liefert bei der Behandlung mit einer 0,5 n‐Bariumhydroxidlösung 2‐Chlorinosin (II), das auch durch Umsetzung von (I) mit zwei Mol methanolischem Natriumhydroxid mit nachfolgender alkalischer Hydrolyse über die 6‐Methoxy‐Verbindung (III) dargestellt werden kann.
