Abstract

Study of Phase Relationships within the MgO-CuO-CuSystem. -The formation of the known compound Cu + Cu 2+ Mg 3 (PO 4 ) 3 by alternate reactions and the formation of solid solutions of type Mg 2−x CuxP 2 O 7 and Mg 3−x Cux(PO 4 ) 2 are reexamined.X-ray diffraction patterns of Mg 2−x CuxP 2 O 7 vary gradually in the range 0 ≤ x ≤ 2 which indicates complete miscibility. -(BAMBERGER, C.
