Abstract: Durch Epimerisierung und nachfolgende Reduktion wird aus dem 16α‐Bromöstron‐äther (I) das Bromhydrin (II) erhalten, das sich thermisch zu (III) epimerisieren läßt. Aus (II) kann ferner das (I)‐Epimere (IV) gewonnen werden.
