Abstract:ChemInform Abstract The Schiff-base condensation of diacetylpyridine (I) and diaminobenzene (III) in the presence of the uranyl salts (II) produces the complexes (IV). The tricyclic compound (V) is also formed. The salts (IVb) cannot be completely separated from the mixture with (V).
