ChemInform Abstract: Site‐Selective Methylation of N^β‐Nosyl Hydrazides of N‐Nosyl Protected α‐Amino Acids.

Abstract

Acids. -The title compounds (I) can undergo methylation with high regioselectivity. First they are methylated at the hydrazide N-atom bearing a sulfonyl group, than at the sulfonamide N-atom, and at least at the carbonyl group.
