Abstract: Die Reduktion von 7‐Valerolacton mit Diisobutylaluminiumhydrid lieferte das Lactol (I) als Diastereoisomerengemisch, das mit der Phoshoranverbindung (II) in DMSO zu der Säure (IIIa) reagiert.
