Abstract

Shapiro Reaction with N,N-Diethylaminosulfonylhydrazones.-A modified Shapiro reaction, which uses readily obtainable N,N-diethylsulfonylhydrazones (VII) (15 examples) instead of traditional arylsulfonylhydrazones, for the generation of olefins (VIII) is developed. By this way any limitations of the traditional procedure, especially undesired metalation of the sulfonyl residues of hydrazones, can be avoided. -(KANG, J.; KIM, J. H.; JANG, G.-S.; Bull.
