Abstract

According to the title reaction, 4‐sulfonylcrotonates or 1,3‐bissulfonylpropene are transformed with α,β‐unsaturated aryl aldehydes, citronellal, or ketones to form highly substituted 3‐sulfonyl benzoic ester derivatives.
