Regioselective Functionalization of 2,2'-Bipyridine and Transformations into Unsymmetric Ligands for Coordination Chemistry. -Three alternative approaches for the regioselective functionalization of 2,2'-bipyridine utilizing regio-directing N-oxide [cf.
