Fused pyrimidine derivatives R 0515Reactions of 2-Amino-4,5,6,7-tretrahydro[1]benzothiophene-3-carbonitrile and 6-Amino-1,4-dihydro-3-methyl-1,4-diphenylpyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole-5-carbonitrile with Substituted Benzylidenemalononitriles, α,β-Acetylenic Esters and Ketones. -Reactions of the title carbonitriles (II) and (V), resp., with benzylidenemalononitriles (II) proceed by attack of the amino group at one of the two cyano groups. On the other hand, attack of the amino group at the β-carbon of the acetylenic system takes place rather than at the carbonyl function in reactions with acetylenic esters and ketones (VIII). -(YOUSSEF*, A.
