Abstract

Reaction of Lithio(alkoxy)allenes with Isothiocyanates: Synthesis of Pyrroles and 5,6-Dihydropyridines. -The title reaction of the lithium salt of methoxyallene (I) with cyclohexyl isothiocyanate (II) and subsequent S-alkylation with ethyl iodide affords the azatriene (IV).
