Abstract: Reaction of 5-Amino-4-formyl-3-methyl(or phenyl)-1-phenyl-1Hpyrazoles with Active Methylene Compounds: Synthesis of Fused Heterocyclic Rings. -With a view to their potential biological activities, e.g. virucidal, anticancer, fungicidal, and bactericidal, the fused heterocyclic systems of type (III), (V), (VII), and (IX) are prepared. -(AHLUWALIA, V.
