Abstract

Reaction of 3-Arylmethylidene-3H-furan-2-ones with 3-Amino-1,2,4-triazole as a Convenient Technique to Synthesize Condensed Diazepinones. -The outcome of the title reaction depends on both reagent ratios and reaction conditions. Thus, the target diazepinones (III) are formed by gradually adding equimolar amounts of aminotriazole in EtOH under reflux conditions whereas butanamides (IV) are obtained from the reaction with excess aminotriazole in EtOH at room temperature. -(ANIS'KOVA, T.
