Abstract

Pyrolysis of β,γ,β'-Trioxo Phosphorus Ylides: Convenient Synthesis of Symmetrical and Unsymmetrical Diacylalkynes.-The ylides (I) undergo acylation with the α-oxo acyl chlorides ( II) and subsequent flash vacuum pyrolysis to give the symmetrical or unsymmetrical diacylalkynes (IV). -(AITKEN, R.
