Abstract: Die zweistufige Synthese von Dimethylolpropan (III) aus Isobutyraldehyd (I) und Formalin (II) in Gegenwart von Natriumhydroxid in Isobutanol mit 3 ‐ 4% Wasser mit anschließender Hydrierung über einem Nickel‐Chrom‐Katalysator bei 140‐160°C und 50 Bar wird untersucht.
