Abstract

In view of the interest of bicyclic systems containing heteroatoms for synthetic and stereochemical investigations, the incorporation of germanium into the bicyclic framework is achieved through ring closure of the bis‐Grignard reagent of the precursor system (I) and dichlorogermanes (II).
