Abstract

Preparation and Absolute Configuration of (-)-(E)-α-trans-Bergamotenone.-Starting from the sesquiterpene (-)-α-transbergamotene (II) the title compound (I) is synthesized and its absolute configuration unambiguously determined.Therefore, for the first time, some structurally related naturally occurring analogues are defined by chemical correlation. -(CHAPUIS, C.; BARTHE, M.; MULLER, B.
