Abstract

Photocatalytic Synthesis of Allylic Trifluoromethyl Substituted Styrene Derivatives in Batch and Flow. -The authors proclaim the first example of a Heck-type coupling reaction using 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl iodide (II). While aliphatic olefins did not undergo the allylation reaction, various substituted styrenes are suitable under batch and flow reaction conditions.
