Abstract

Polyphenyl derivatives Q 0700Palladium-Catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura Cross-Coupling of Various Aryl Halides Using ortho-Alkyl-Substituted Arylphosphanes and (ortho-Alkylphenyl)-alkylphosphanes under Microwave Heating. -Palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling of a wide range of aryl halides (I) with phenyl-or 2-biphenylboronic acid (II) proceeds with constantly high yields in the presence of (o-isopropylphenyl)diisopropylphosphine ligand. In contrast to triphenylphosphine ligand, even unreactive aryl chlorides as well as sterically hindered aryl halides provide excellent yields with the novel dialkylarylphosphine ligand. -(VUOTI*, S.; AUTIO, J.; LAITILA, M.; HAUKKA, M.; PURSIAINEN, J.; Eur.
