Catalytic Dimerization of 1-Alkynes to Linear 1-En-3-ynes at cis-Arylhydridoruthenium(II) Chelate Complexes. Molecular Structure of (pp3)RuH(C6H4CF3-3) (pp3: P( CH2CH2CH2PMe2)3).-The catalytic dimerizations of 1-alkynes are studied for the examples of (I) and (IV). Depending on the complex used as catalyst the stereoselectivity of the dimerization products varies. A reaction pathway for the catalysis is discussed. The catalysts are recovered unchanged.
