Abstract

Novel Route to 4-(Adamantan-1-yl)quinoline Derivatives Based on the Friedlaender Condensation. -The synthesis of the novel title compounds is limited by the bulkiness of the substituents. Thus, the reaction of a substrate (II) with R 1 , R 2 : -Ph fails.
