Abstract

Novel and Efficient Synthesis of Pyrroloiminoquinones Using a Hypervalent Iodine(III) Reagent.-A novel and efficient route to pyrroloiminoquinones (II) involving the intramolecular cyclization of 3-(azidoethyl)indoles (I) mediated by a hypervalent iodine (III) reagent is presented.
