ChemInform Abstract: Naphthaloyl Group: A New Selective Amino Protecting Group for Deoxynucleosides in Oligonucleotide Synthesis.

Abstract: ChemInform Abstract The protected deoxynucleosides (III) are fairly stable and easily deprotected by treatment with ammonia. The usefulness of the naphthaloyl protecting group in oligodeoxyribonucleotide synthesis is demonstrated by the preparation of some dimers and tetramers in solution and solid phase, respectively.
