Abstract: ChemInform Abstract The hitherto unknown title hydride is prepared by reaction of NaH and Pd in a H2 atmosphere at about 370 rc C. The compound crystallizes in the tetragonal space group I4/mmm, Z=2. Linear (PdH2) units characterize the structure which is isotypic with that of Na2HgO2.
